中国でプレイステーションストアが接続不可能に
Weiboユーザーが「他の地域に切り替えると外国のゲームをプレイできるようになる」と中国政府へ通報したのが原因か

ゲーマーが些細な争いのために検閲を持ち出すのは今に始まったことではない。
2014年には、中国でのPS4発売直前に「PS4にはリージョンロックがなく海外の暴力的なゲームがプレイ可能だ」として中国政府に通報するユーザーが現れ、発売が遅れることとなった。

In 2014, a person reported Sony to Chinese gov, right before PS4’s China release, as the console has no region lock & enables foreign violent games. これはソニーに限った話ではない。任天堂やマイクロソフトも被害を受けている。(例として、どうぶつの森はパッケージ版が発売禁止となった)。そして一部のファンは、復讐のためにさらに多くの報告を送り、悪循環が続いている。
Sony is not the only one. Nintendo, Microsoft all fell victim (e.g. Animal Crossing’s physical copy was recently banned). And some fans have resorted to even more reporting as revenge, perpetuating the vicious cycle.
